Privacy Policy for Glued URL
Last Updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Glued URL ("the Extension") handles user data. We take your privacy seriously and have designed the Extension to operate with the minimum amount of data necessary. No registration is required to use the extension.
2. Data Collection and Transmission
- No Personal Information: The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
- No External Servers: No data is ever sent to external servers or third parties. All operations are performed locally on your device.
3. Local Storage
The Extension uses the chrome.storage.local API to function:
- User Data: The Extension only stores the URLs that you explicitly choose to "Copy" via the context menu.
- Purpose: This data is stored locally on your machine solely to enable the "Restore URL" functionality.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Manual Deletion: Saved URLs are overwritten whenever you use the "Copy URL" function again.
- Uninstallation: If you uninstall the Extension, all locally stored data is automatically and permanently deleted by the Google Chrome browser.
5. Third-Party Access
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. Your data never leaves your local browser environment.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
